The photo of Effie CHANCE WISE clearly states she is Perry CHANCE's sister. It would seem Effie CHANCE WISE is 40+ yrs old in photo. In the 1880 census there is only one Effie WISE listed.

My Great Grandfather Benjamin Franklin CHANCE was born in 1856 in Pike Co., Indiana. Effie LONG WISE was living in the same area during that time frame.

Effie LONG WISE mother is listed as Margaret Chance could this be Mary Margaret McGOWAN CALDER CHANCE that married a LONG after Benjamin CHANCE III death (before 1840).

I truly believe this person is one and the same Effie CHANCE/LONG WISE.
